Michezo Youth Initiative can only survive and grow through the efforts of those who support us, be they volunteers, program advocates or sponsors of either equipment or funding. Without this continuing and much needed support this innovative program will cease to exist.
So please, if you can spare even a few dollars, spend a few minutes to donate online through our proud supporters Action for Children in Conflict and Justgiving.
We are still looking for enough funds to allow us to complete our first 12 months, an absolutely crucial time in ensuring the success of this project. We are well on the way with our goal to attract local sponsors for long term funding of the project, but need the breathing space the first year's funding will allow us to effectively put this in place. Please, every little bit will help.
Volunteers
MYI are on the look out for volunteers who can offer a specific area of expertise or skill that will be of benefit in helping the youth volunteers achieve the objectives of our program. This may be in the area of sports, sports management, HIV/AIDS and Life Skills education, art, drama or any other creative area that would contribute in a positive manner to our program. If you are interested, please contact us in the first instance for further information.
